Kateryna’s professional interests: advocacy, community social work, ensuring access to legal aid in the community, development of community leadership, community and police cooperation, monitoring of law enforcement activities. Since 2014, she has been coordinating projects and programs at the AllUkrainian Charitable Organization “Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation”. In particular, she coordinates paralegals’ monitoring and assessment, the activities in the field of implementation of international standards of human rights in police activities, development of networks of free legal aid providers in communities, advocacy of the right to legal aid. Since 2019 she has been coordinating activities in Ukrainian Access to Justice School of Practice https://ua2j.school/ Kateryna has been involved in the expert group on the development of cooperation between legal aid providers in local communities, in particular, within the framework of modelling legal aid programs. Kateryna coordinates the activities of the Council on the development of the Paralegals Community in Ukraine, and she is the author of the “Advocacy and Communication” training module within the course for paralegals. Kateryna is in the “Social Work” Ph.D. Program of the Academy of Labor, Social Relations and Tourism. She participated in professional exchange programs in Denmark, Sri Lanka, and the United States of America. She is engaged in volunteer work.
